A Gift from the Heart, A Quilt for Unleashed!
We would like to say a special thank you for the kind words, hard work and wonderful creation from the hands and heart of Eve Conner. This quilt was truly an unexpected blessing to our Ministry Team. Such a beautiful display of workmanship, and a perfect explanation of the Unleashed Ministry and its purpose. We will cherish it, and give it a place of honor.
This is just one of the many blessings Eve exhibits, she is a true inspiration to the ladies she works with on projects for others. Their current project is making small quilts for needy and sick children in Honduras inwhich they will send with the SBT mission teams. She told me recently the next project was making dolls for Alzheimer's patients.
Thank you Eve for how you choose to use your God given gifts and abilities from the Lord to bless others. It is our prayer the Lord will bless you tenfold.

The Unleashed Ministry Team
This quilt was given as a gift to the Unleashed Ministry. It was made with the idea that the quilt would symbolize several important aspects of this ministry and its outreach.
The style of the quilt is called a “Scrappy Quilt”—it reuses remnant fabrics that were used previously in other quilting projects. This aspect of the quilt reflects the words of the psalmist in Psalm 51:10-13, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.”
Second, the pattern name for this quilt is, “Stacked Coin.” The different scraps of purple fabric are stacked in rows as coins might be stacked. Coins are of value; but, we must ask the question, “What does God value? And do we value the same things?” Proverbs 3:13-15 speaks of things we should value, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She [wisdom] is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.” Gaining wisdom and understanding are two values highly esteemed in the Unleashed Ministry.
Next, the colors selected for the quilt are colors of royalty—purple and gold. Theressa desires to teach the women to whom Unleashed ministers to know and understand their value in Christ—that they are daughters of the Most High God and King of Heaven. First Peter 2:9 reminds believers in Christ exactly who we are. Peter reminded us, “Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
Finally, the quilt was stitched together using a free-motion pattern of loops and stars. Life lived in Christ is a life of twists and turns as we daily follow His direction. Jesus is our source of strength and power as we walk this earth and we look forward to the day when we will live in Heaven with Him forever!
