Heavenly PEACE
My mother was a lady of great faith, and we had a very close relationship. We shared many things, but faith was the most important. In 1972, my mother went to be with the Lord. I helped take care of my father after my mother died. He had a very difficult time dealing with the fact that he was alone. My father and I were very close, and when he passed away a while later, it was very hard for me to deal with. Even though I was very close with my father, it was so much harder for me to lose my mother. Mothers and daughters share a special bond. The Lord gave me such a great PEACE during these difficult times in my life.
Over the years I watched other families struggle with death, especially long illnesses that caused the family much grief and sorrow. I don’t know why these things happen, but I feel very fortunate that the Lord took my mother and father quickly, they didn’t suffer. Looking back on things, God has given me a greater sense of PEACE, knowing that my mother and father are together again, with Him.
God is so good. I can’t explain it but if we trust Him he gives us this incredible PEACE knowing that He is always with us.
