A Royal Robe For Unleashed

Sometimes the things you want to the most are the things you have challenges finding, not because you can't afford them, but because they have not been created yet!!! That was our story last Spring!

God had given us a direction for a specific area of our ministry and it was critical that we have a large, heavy, Durable PURPLE crushed velvet Robe!

Several of our team members as well as friends searched stores, catalogs and the internet to find "The Robe" God had designed in my head for the session, but it was no where to be found.  We even requested the assistance of one of the largest costume shops and they came back with the same answer.

After much prayer and further counsel from God, I asked one of the ladies from our church which is a wonderful seamstress if she would consider making this fabulous ROBE. She so graciously agreed, and we together set out to find out what we needed and the cost to create it.

Well, let's just say God has expensive taste!!!!!

The material alone was well over $250.00! I must say I was slightly overwhelmed by the cost' yet I knew in my heart it was what God wanted for this particular part of our ministry.

So the focus went from what we wanted to how to fund it!

God being Himself, provided a donor almost immediately; and our wonderful seamstress volunteered her time.

When we went to pick up the material God led us on a side journey which changed everything. The store He led us to had the very fabric and accessories we needed and all for under $25.00.  AMEN

Sometimes I think He just wants us to see if we are willing and what we will do to accomplish what He desires for us to do; don't you!!!

I want to report, the "ROBE" has been used in several forgiveness sessions and God has used it to further His Kingdom and ensure His restoration in the lives of His children.  1 John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
